The FI (A) Course is compliant to JAR-FCL 1.300 and is composed of 140 Hrs of theory and 35 hrs of flight instruction. The candidate must pass two entry tests (theoretical and practical) before attending the course. The minimum requirements are: - Hold a CPL (A) or ATPL (A) licence, or a PPL (A) with 150 Hrs PIC and fulfil the AMC FCL 1.470(b)
- Minimum of 200 hrs total, and 100 as PIC
- Minimum of 30 SEP
Except the teaching and learning module (4 days class) the FI (A) course is based on a “private” course with a maximum time frame of 6 months from start. At course completion the candidate must demonstrate the his ability during a Skill test with an approved FI(E)
